Those DLC chapters can't come soon enough. I just finished the game and I really want more game to play. Felt like it ended a little too soon.

I don't think I've read a review that didn't mention the game was short, so there's not much of a surprise for me there. But are you sure about Gears for Breakfast planning DLC chapters for A Hat in Time? I'm asking because that seems pretty early and isn't mentioned anywhere on the storepage...

Also the biggest question for me: Paid DLC or free DLC?

They do. It was one of the kickstarter goals. And yes, they'll be free.
