| #Product

GOG is a leading, global games marketplace generating $50M annual revenue with millions of monthly active users. With more than 7,000 products in our catalog, we are home to the largest collection of classic games and have a serious footprint in indie, AA and AAA games. We are part of the CD Project Group (publicly listed on the Warsaw stock market: CDR:WSE), makers of the Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher smash-hit series.

As the Product Director, you will lead the Product Management team at GOG, responsible for developing the product vision, strategy and roadmap and then leading the team to execute it. This is a critical role in realising our mission to make games last forever by helping people across generations fall in love with games.

Responsibilities:

Create and own the product vision and strategy for GOG

Consulting with leaders across the business, you’ll create and own the product vision and strategy to propel GOG towards our next phase of growth, keeping us differentiated and valuable.

Build a high-performing product team

Hire and lead a high-performing Product team, along with all of its processes, tools and culture. Making sure your team is doing the right things, not spread too thinly, whilst keeping a healthy balance of innovation and maintenance.

Relentlessly engage and communicate

Work continuously with a variety of cross-functional partners to receive input, get feedback, and keep them advised.

Maximise our learning curve

Lead the practice of product discovery by formalising the process of understanding our users, identifying their problems and assessing opportunities to best address them, all whilst maximising impact for GOG.

Own and measure success

With overall accountability for the impact of our products, you will define and measure performance metrics.

Evangelise a product mindset across the organisation

We want you to reinforce product thinking throughout our organisation, by elevating the user and impact-centricity.

Job Requirements:

  • You have a proven track record in product management (5+ years of experience).
  • You have experience in a senior product or leadership role.
  • You have hired and managed product managers.
  • You are comfortable thinking both strategically at the broader company level and tactically at the feature level.
  • You have looked after a product, or a significant part of a larger one, in the B2C space; ideally gaming, e-commerce or a marketplace.
  • You have a high degree of empathy for engineering, design, marketing and other functions' goals and challenges.
  • You can clearly define success metrics at the organizational level, and articulate how teams and projects are contributing towards them.
  • You possess a strong business sense and use those instincts to help inform decisions.
  • You can steer senior leaders and partners around insights and strategies you have developed.
  • You have a strong bias for execution and ensure that all teams are consistently shipping products and delivering customer value.
  • You are motivated by a burning desire for excellence, but take a pragmatic approach to achieve your goals.

What we offer:

  • Join a booming industry and influence the future of gaming.
  • Lead the implementation of a comprehensive product strategy, shaping the future direction of our organization.
  • Drive innovation and guide the development of customer-centric product solutions.
  • Play a pivotal role in translating strategic vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Influence decision-making and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and experienced external partners to ensure successful execution of the product strategy.
  • Be a part of a transparent and inclusive organization that values open communication and collaboration and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
