Ziggurat

This really isn't my style of game, to be honest. Despite that, I really enjoy it. Graphics are good, gameplay is smooth, enemies have good AI, and I am enjoying it so far. Also, there are cool weapons you can pick up which don't feel overpowered, but they sure as Hell feel powerful. Very good game, is easy enough but can feel difficult at the same time. 9.999999999/10

I love this game, I can easily say this game deserves 5 star rating. The fast and dynamic action kinda reminds me of Serious Sam, only difference is that instead of guns there are magical weapons. Thanks to the dev for making this game playable on linux.

Since I don't have any other first person shooter Rogue thing to refer to, I guess its a classic. Worth your while. Give it a shot!

The Binding of Isaak, but in first person and more content in it. I didn't like TBoI at all, but then I met this. Same gameplay, but different perspective and cool graphics style. Played about 8 hours and opened only half of the content. Love it!

Ziggurat is good old school shooter with projectile based weapons mixed with well implemented rogue-lite elements. Shooting is satisfying, but it would be much better with at least some gore. There are plenty of weapons and character classes, but most are quite similar. Randomness is not too crazy, which makes runs more skill-based than luck-based, but at the same time lowers replayability. Visuals are simple but stylish and fit the theme well. Overall the game completely delivers on its promises, making the most out of FPS|rogue-lite mix.
