Z: The Game

controls are not as bad, as other reviewers tell, but my problem is, that it's much easier than the original.. e.g. small tank can beat a medium tank, a medium a large tank.. and that's mostly the normal behaviour, nothing random.. also the k.i. seems to be stupid in relation to the original.. it's more defensiv, than offensiv, so some units run away even if you do not have a chance to beat them. It was nice to play the game again, but it was not really challenging..

The game is good, don't get me wrong. It's Z. But in the current technical version I cannot recommend it to *anyone*. The controls are really bad because they did some really odd mobile -> PC port, there's virtually no settings, you can't even go windowed or change the resolution. The speed doesn't match up either. The screens seem meant for rather old phone screens, too. All in all, avoid. Really, avoid it. It looks Z, it is Z, and yet it'll just make you hate yourself for paying for this, like it did with me. :(

The game is astonishing... if it were the original version, not this sorry port (from tablet!). At the current state the game lacks the many presents in the original... soooooo nope. If you want to experience it, you have to experienced right!

I played the first release of this game and i played the xp version with a godexpansion with 15 extra levels and online mode 4 players. this version is good to pass a different sunday but no more. I hope you are gonna give us a better Z Thanks

You are better off playing this game with a DosBox setup as this modern port of a legendary RTS game is absolute rubbish. The robot and vehicle pathfinding is terrible, the robotic infantry won't attack properly, and the interface isn't true to the original. In short words, this port is a practically copy & paste job as it is practically similar to the iPad/Android port. Avoid at all cost until a DosBox version is up!
