I played this game when it first was released. Am currently playing on an budget hp laptop with a basic Intel UHD600 graphics card, 4gb RAM and 1.10ghz. Runs super smooth, even the multiplayer against bots is running very well. Difficult game as they just dont make them like this anymore. The comic style graphics is very well done, very satisfying getting those headshots with the rifle, harpoon, broken glass, throwing knives and crossbows. Not to mention breaking furniture and brooms on enemies to subdue them from cover and using the grappling hook to winch up and swing to new heights. David Duchovny(The X-Files, Evolution, Californication) is the voice of the protagonist, has also voiced a few other titles aswell. Keep an eye and ears out for a guard named Doug. That guy can really sing, will have to check the credits but he sounds like Bon Jovi lol. Definitley try this gem of a game. Aparently it bombed really bad in its day but I've given it 5 stars as its a decent challenge and will surely keep me enthralled til I master it on all difficulties. Maybe one day I will be able to try out the remastered version.

this game is a classic and the first game i bought for the nintendo gamecube. i didn't bother with the remake, instead opting to just pick up the classic version on GOG and boy are there some issues but one in particular stands out for me and that is the save system is really broken. you can save but in spite of loading up to where you left off, this game will always pick up at the start of a level and here i am inside the emerald base, having deactivated all the generators and making it inside i hdecided to take a break and check to see if it picks up where i left off.... nope, have to play through the level from the start. im not sure if this can be patched but if you dont mind a flawed save system the game is stll a lotta fun, albeit somewhat infuriating at times.

It's still a great game after all this years. Unfortunatly with an open end and no chance to see a sequel. Avoid to play it on Win 11 24H2, it will save you a lot of trouble. I rolled my Win 11 system back to the 23H2 Update and everything runs nicely.

Fun game. Love the artstyle. Really enjoy the story

though i missed this game when i was a kid its something i cant ignore and love. sad the remake was horrible
