Wheres The Effort?
This game feels like a mix between a cashgrab and and a lack of effort. A Wicher tabletop should make the world of CD Project Red's Witcher games come to life. With the classes like bard, fighter and mage flavoured by Dandilion, Geralt and Triss, this game had a chance to streamline the D&D experince and ground it in the world of The Witcher. However, there is so little depth to this game; combat consists of merely throwing dice to meet a number of required crests to pass or fail. There are no attacks, items, spells or skills you can use in battle. The concept of death is replaced by merely being inconvienced and having your actions limited because you become wounded. Travelling across the land without the threat of death just really lowers the stakes for me too much to care. While the game overloads you with cards and token types, there isn't much more depth than meeting a number by tossing dice. This is a tabletop game where my choices feel like they scarcely matter and rob the player of any agency they have in building out or using their character's skills. The biggest mark against this game is its presentation. The player figures are obnoxiously brightly coloured plastic, lacking any depth or detail. I would expect this in an actual tabletop, but in a video game, they could have been lovingly textured or brought to life as animated 3D models that react to victories and defeat. The only thing this game has going for it is The Witcher branding; otherwise, it lacks much more depth than the actual Jumanji board game (Which isn't nearly as fun as the movie.) Unless you are morbidly curious, I'd say skip this and just learn to play Gwent. Toss a coin to other Witcher products, and good luck on the path.

Interesting game
Nice little game is fun who wants to return to Witcher world for a little bit. Art and sounds is good, the only strange part of it is that you compete in the game with other characters like Triss instead of helping :) It could possibly be better if there were some enemy characters to choose from.

nice game but...
Some characters are weak and some are very strong. There are some situation when weak characters are blocked ( unable to play) > (Dandelion vs. gold class monsters)
