IT IS WORTH IT!!!
from what i can gather in the one day i have been playing. the lighting is different and not for the worse. the sun shines all day in the land of love and wine and makes the landscape so much more beautiful. speaking of which the landscape is full of grass rivers and trees and is mostly untouched by civilization, only having a few mediterenian style windmills, reneiscance like houses in the main city (beauclair) and a fairy tale like castle. it was ASTONISHING. the new enemies that i have encountered are pretty interesting and awesome looking and so that i won't spoil anything i will say nothing. the start of the is absolutely awesome and it starts pretty well. for all those people you have played the first game or read all the books you will meet an old friend presumed very much dead. that is all i will say on that matter. cd project red was probably bombarded with demands to put a skellige gwent deck and so far i am not dissapointed. the deck is incredible. it focuses on the cooperation of all the warriors having all an craite warriors gain the tight bond buff and the skellige longships receiving the same buff or the muster buff. also the skellige perk is a real life saver. it summons 2 random cards from the grave and puts them on the table. with the right cards and some luck you can get out of a very heart breaking defeat. the armors so far are very nice and give you that fairy tale feel, the knights doing tasks for their queens, the royal guardsman in golden armor, marvelous. weapons well they are ok but they look similar to vanilla swords which is expected in the land you are in. oh the map is definetely not as big as velen but it is as big as skellige. the new mutation system is really good. you feel so op in the begining if you have invested in signs. trust me. in the end the witcher 3: blood and wine expansion is worth every cent and anyone who likes games with scenic view, fairy tales but also a bit of monster hunting should go ahead and visit toussaint.
