We. The Revolution

Never have I felt so hype for so many participants on so many sides of such a crazy mess of somewhat actual history outside of bald fiction. Ocaissionaly janky. Often serviceable. Frequently Inspired. Flashes of brilliance gleam at almost every turn of this gem. Here the plot or writing, there the visual direction, elsewhere the UI and systems baffle and please often doing both at once to positive effect. And. A very drily dark delivery, not without it's wry smiles and careless chuckles. Hit the Lever!

An interesting premise that falls flat on its face because you constantly feel like you're being railroaded and your 'decisions' are literally just based on what will fill up a bar, not any actual role-playing reasons. I also don't understand the People vs Revolutionaries perspective, where in so many cases they are against each other in the game. It doesn't make sense. Also every single cutscene in this game is apparently unskippable, which ironically is a crime that deserves the guillotine. All in all I really like the idea, but the execution in that game is just not for me, since it is to much about game mechanics and to little about actually difficult decisions. I was hoping the game will show complicated time, relative decisions where 'The People' have their rights, but it's constantly trying to prove how bad the French Revolution was. It's wrong, because without the context we are only examining the course of the crime.

And very very addictive, also very beautiful. I enjoy every minute i spend with We. the Revolution. Thank you developers for this awesome experience, you are very talented.

a great game thats filled with amazing graphics and plot, would definitely play again.

In this *political* simulation, you are forced into a mandatory game of dice that you simply cannot win because the AI cheats the hell out of the game. I tried it for 3 hours without any "luck". Wouldn't be so bad if the consequences of that game of dice wouldn't be one of the most important story aspects of the entire game. I simply don't like to be cheated.
