Cannot play the game.

I cannot play the game. It starts with the game logo and immediately crashes. Anyone have any fix for this?

Buyer Beware

Likewise I too have found said game promptly crashes back to Windows after launching even when run as administrator; every player will be well advised not to buy it until GOG patches it.

dosen't open!

in windows 8 , it just shows the golden shield and hammers and then shuts down, with out error messages. i hope gets fixed because i realy want this game to be playble after all these years

Shame...

I love the game but the GOG optimization is terrible. It wont open unless you toy with the graphics card setting on your PC and then if you manage to get it to "work" you're met with game breaking graphic bugs. I really hope this gets sorted out soon, until then it's just money wasted.
