Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Gold Edition

There are not many games that i come back to after completing them, and this one is one of the honored few. I played it in a gaming cafe when it first came out, i played it almost two decades ago when i got my first PC, and now, almost two decades later. The nostalgy, the feel of the game, its asthetics, the small details in unit and structure design, the voice acting, music and audio design that elevates the entire experience, its all incredible. And not because its set in the WHFB universe from which it takes inspiration and design, but what the developers did with it. There are downsides as well, mostly on the gameplay side. The maps feel empty with armies so small, and the melee turns into a blob too quick without a pause/slowdown button, and the units feel too same-y at times, with little else separating them from one another than just numbers. That said, i warmly recommend the game. Even 19 years after its release, its still fun, its still badass, it still holds up even against its peers like Warhammer Total War, and it will be a game that i will keep coming back to for many years to come.

wish they made more age of sigmar RTS games, this is one of a kind!

You get to choose Order, Chaos or Destruction for the campaign, but the game has an extensive, and rather intuitve army builder!
