So i looked for this game for some time, and found it to be at a fair price here. Story just as i rembered it, and getting some huge fun for the few hours it takes to complet with all 3 factions. If your a warhammer fan of the old worth, its worth a to play, its like a mini warhammer 3 game. Tho.. in a older game. 5 Stars.

While this game is less complex than dark omen and shadow of horned rat, got one mediocre dlc, it is still great intermediate step to the path which culminated in total war: warhammer 3. In some aspects mark of chaos is better than TW: WH series: formations, ability attch commander to squad, some behaviour options. Of course, there are very few races - emprie, highe leves, chaos warriors of Khorne and Nurgle (and some lesser demons), skaven, high elves, dlc "battle march" added greenskins and dark elves. Campaign features a few vampire counts units, skirmish - mercenary troops (mostly norskan barbarians, greenskins, dwarfs, skaven). The scale of battle is 1/4-1/2 of that in total war series. Domination battles in total war: warhammer 3 are the same as battle with reinforcement skirmish and multiplayer in this game. Sieges are immersive, too, remind the ones from total war: 3 kingdoms, but on lesser scale ("3 kindoms" features duels between generals, which are almost exactly the same as in "mark of chaos"). Overall, this game is simplified clone of historical total war games, but spiritual grandmothe rof total war: warhammer series (spiritual mother is King Arthu 2: the role-playing wargame). Campaign is rarthe rstraightforward but have perfect grmdark atmosphere of warhammer fantasy battles 6-th edition. This game features some units which reappeared only in 2022 in total war: warhammer 3 (chaos furies, daemon princes) or only in mods for TW: Wh 2, 3 (giant rats). Also multiplayer had kind of campaign map with Ulthuan, nagarrond, Empire territoies - yes, mortal empires cqmpaign from total war: warhammer 2. So, everyone interested in warhammer fb: universe and ready to see truly dark tale of it best days shall be satisfied.

Great game to play, very retro to the old fnatasy battles of warhammer. needs a adecent processer and graphics card though

No nostalgia here, just pure enjoyment of a solid game. There are some design choices here and there that I felt should knock a star off. If you love Warhammer Fantasy I would say this is a must have title as it plays very well even on widescreen at high resolutions.
