Dark Crusade Crashes During Campaign
The game itself is very fun, 4/5 stars but... once you take a stronghold in the dark crusade campaign and access your commanders gear menu, it crashes to desktop. From what I have read there is no real solution - so it is actually impossible to complete that campaign =-(. The original campaign and winter assault worked without a hitch though. I haven't tried soulstorm as the dark crusade bug really demoralized me, will update if I do. Hopefully GOG will pull a miracle and 'good old game' this, otherwise I would only get it for the first 2 campaigns. And I certainly wouldn't buy the upcoming "Definitive Edition" - if they cannot bother to fix the bug here, I wouldn't assume they will fix it there. **Update** 9/2025 - There is a patch on ModDB that does fix the crashing for the dark crusade campaign "DarkCrusade GOG campaign fix". Hopefully they will incorporate it directly into the game someday!

Blast from the past
While it doesn't have LAN support, thus cutting out the online multiplayer aspect, Dawn of War and its expansions are still great games.

Best warhammer 40k games ever made
It’s been years since the original dawn of war games released and they are still the best warhammer 40k games of all time Dark crusade and Soulstorm are masterpieces Unfortunately this GOG release has some issues Dark crusade crashes when clicking on the commander tab after beating the first stronghold and soulstorm crashes on the stronghold missions but you know what I’m just happy to have a DRM Free copy of some of my favorite games of all time and thankfully this GOG release is compatible with the amazing advanced campaign mod Hopefully GOG will fix the crashing issues in the future Despite the crashing I still highly recommend this collection of warhammer 40k classics

Finally Warhammer 40000k Dawn of War.
WAAAGH, PURGE THE HERETICS, CHAOS IS STRONG...... Finally I can play this one more time. I spend hundred hours at monitor played this game. It's time to play another hundred hours on this game.
