Im gonna go ahead and reccomend buying this right now, it is great. So you know...start downloading it when you are done reading this review (and dont feel bad if you stop in the middle of reading this to play it, I understand). Don't let the appearance fool you, this is an amazing and challenging Platformer that in my opinion is better than other games like it like Super Meat Boy (in my opinion). It is also a fair challenge. When you hit a spike or any other opsticle you are taken right back to your previous checkpoint for what only feels like a second. It is good when games do this after you fail because you can get right back into the action because it doesn't get frustrating (at least to me anyway). I like a game called Bloodborne that is a challenging Hack and Slash RPG and it is really fun but when you die you are usually sent really far back and you have to wait and wait for the game to load again and then you crawl your way back to where you were. But with this game it is Quick and therefor it isn't much of a problem. Now I will admit their is one part I have found where a more checkpoints wouldn't hurt, but that is only one part so far, the rest is pretty fair. Pick this one up, it is worth it even while not on sale.

Yes, the good, smoetimes not so good old days when I've been killed a thousand times in my games on Commodore 16, or later on 64. It's kind of fun to relive all the frustrations except here I don't have to start over when I died fo the 3rd or the 4rth time. Looks like it's intentional, all the C16 look, the syntherizerish music, for me it's pure nostalgia, actually reminds me to some not so good things from my happy childhood. How could this game could be improved? Well an even more detailed story, more fun comments from our character. I was going to give 4 stars, but let's make it 5, with all the frustration. It's an unique experience anyway. Thanks!

The main part of the game is quite brief (2-3 hrs), but extremely enjoyable. The characters are surpringsingly good, do not expect profoundity, but they are fun to speak to nonetheless. Once the game is over and you have "100%" it, it will unlock new fun modes to keep playing. Given this extra content and the short-relaxing main story, the game has a lot of replayability. The only thing that I haven't enjoyed was the gravity minigame in which you have to resist for a minute without dying to get a trophy. The sad part is that it is completely random, and quite unfair sometimes (some rngs are almost imposible to dodge), it would be cool if there was a predesigned level (easy or difficult, whatever) and then an optional endless mode. Apart from that, I truly recommend the game, it is without a doubt worth the money.
