Vikings - Wolves of Midgard

First of all: I did not purchase this one on GOG.com but rather got it from a Humble Monthly Subscription. To get to the point right on: This game feels, looks and sounds more like a mobile game, and sadly this carries over to almost all of the game mechanics. After about 10 hours of playing the game I have to say to me this feels more like a concept or pitch of a game than an actual release. To make things worse the game also failed to get a grip on me by using means like a dense, rich atmosphere or by telling a captivating story. I am quite sorry, but I can't recommend this title to anyone expecting a proper PC game experience.

For those who like isometric, Diablo-esque kind of Action! Beware the cold of the Norse Winter.

First this is only H&S not RPG and easy one, especially if you choose go thor and endurance us main lead way to develop your character. About 41h hours of play, filled with beautiful music and cute graphic, sadly game lack weapons, monsters type to beatted and optionals maps to conquer... Good choice if you want to relax and play someting that dosn't requere more thinking. Ps. This game loves xbox pad, on keyboard you can also play but it's not that confortable.

One of the few games I have asked for a refund. This game is listed as an ARPG/Hack and Slash but it really plays out like a tough 3rd person action game. I knew the camera was going to be in close. I also knew that the game forced you to go to certain areas to spend your points which you gathered as you cleared each area. What I didn't expect was that even on normal mode that the bosses would be very difficult to beat. Both boss fights that I cleared before giving up on this game took place in very confined areas. One was a cavern where the floor was constantly frozen and the other was inside a wooden lodge. I felt like this was a game that demanded exact timing of dodging and attacking similar to 3rd person action games. I never really got comfortable with the controls and this game didn't really feel like a traditional ARPG. I recommend this game only to people who really enjoy Norse mythology AND tough action games. 1 star for trying a unique setting. This game was not for me.
