Fun game but suffers from optimisation

The game is fun and the price is very low, lower than other 'big' titles from Toplitz. This is an RPG and action game where you play as Dragos and Dragos alone who is voiced competently by a real voice actor. So if you are looking to create a female character this isn't the game for you- this is not a 'dynasty' game. That being said, unfortunately, there are optimistation problems with stuttering in combat (save before you start to engage). I have a quite high-end Alienware gaming laptop with 32 GB RAM and this is still a problem simply because the game was not created with optimisation in mind. I would advise most potetntial players, especially those with less RAM to wait a few months for optimisation fixes. Also, the combat tree of abilities is not completed yet so I'd say for those on the fence or who want to see fantastic vampiric powers wait until they completely release the full combat tree.

Humble beginnings...

...of the Vampire game I never thought I wanted. My family roots are from the Eastern Europe so my granny always told me "fairy tales"(more like horror stories) before I went to sleep. Vampires were always there at the top. I stumbled upon the demo on the other platform when it first came about, it sang of a promise... now after trying launch of EA: they improved the game since then, so... Im gonna support it and hope there are many more good things coming! This game may not be in its current state for everyone (I d say depends, for harsher critics it might be 4/10, for average user I d give it 6/10, for vampyr lovers and fanatics like me its 8/10 at the moment of launch ...and if you get immersed in the atmosphere time flies by so its 10/10 I got lost in thought rebuilding and designing the Castle) It has a particular graphics (Im gamer since Gothic... so Im not rly dependent on realistic "modern" graphics), responsivenes of controls is decent and movement feels great, dashing turning into cloud of bats! (thats always cool, I hope they keep adding as many vampiric powers as possible from mythology perspective, also weaknesses for immersion), performance could be better but its better than it was in DEMO xD so Im optimistic. Aesthetics and atmosphere is great Im rly into it (personal taste). Ambience music is creepy Working GoG achievements! Call me pleasantly surprised the devs bothered with achievs here (many developers dont care! and many games on GoG dont have achievements) Working Coop even on GoG! I just need to drag me brother into this as soon as he caves. Some critique on the other platform: "its a mix of Conan exiles and V rising". Well we dont have any of that here on GoG, so Welcome! Vampires Blodlord Rising!, you are the best here on GoG at the moment. Even in humble EA.

Great job so far, but challenging

So, this EA version explains some but not all the things you need to survive. Fun enough to keep me playing but I'd prefer more vampiring than base management--that side needs to take care of more (via a slider?). Worth the price already!

Note: This is an early access game. While there is some jank in the controls and skins, this game has some strong roots. If it's polished up a bit and some basic QOL implemented this is going to be a great survial/community builder in my opinion. It's worth checking out. Under $20 and enough to make it worth while. I'm hoping it gets polished and updated a bit because it's going to be taking up a bit of my free time as is.

V rising with some quirks

The setting is good, the combat is still a bit jnaky - never quite sure if its really worth trying to counter when dash just wins everytime etc. Sure there will be development to smooth it out .
