Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption

early game difficulty can be harsh esepcially with the bosses heavily reccomend looking online to see what disciplines to level up and what stats are key

i recommend WilliamSRD video on the game he gave great insight, and told the games tale outstandingly. as for my exp on the game, once you learn the controls everything falls into place. map could have been better but atleast once your done with a dungeon it takes you back to the first room where the enterance is so no back tracking thankfully.

As someone who was already playing the ttrpg Vampire: Dark Ages and Vampire: The Masquerade, this game was a must buy when it got launch. I played VM:R and VM:BL and while BL is more action like and gives u a bit more freedom VM:R is way more faithfull to the ttrpg and provides a much more deeper inmersion on the world of darkness setting with a story very close to the Transilvania Chronicles of the ttrpg. All the kids who got in touch with WoD with BL will cry out BL is a better game but at the end Redemption is a much better adaptation of the ttrpg than BL (For me is like Skyrim fanboys screaming Skyrim is the best Elder Scrolls because is the only TES they played) To finish I will say the gameplay didn't aged well, the IA is atrocious and is better to micromanage your whole grp and for veterans of the ttrpg the game can become too easy pretty fast because we know already which disciplines will be top tier, but overall the storytelling is amazing and is a great game on their own with great characters and a amazing voice acting/Soundtrack. 100% recommended if you want a vampire game with a dark theme and a deep lore behind free of the modern girly vision of the vampires.
