Good visual novel in Vampire
A good visual novel, with a good story in New York City. Set in what I presume is 5th edition, it dosent matter a lot: could be used for a good tabletop story before 2000. 7.50/10

Has flair but no replay value
A Visual Novel that takes place within the Vampire Masquerade universe. It both tells a good story and has good presentation values, and I recommend it for that, but the downside is that there is no real replay value. Yes, there are three different characters that you can play, each from a different clan, but they play almost the same. In addition, the optional zones that you have to explore are also very limited. There are four, and you have access to exactly those four regardless of what characters you play, and they always play through exactly the same way. I would have preferred a much broader scope with, say, ten to fifteen different areas that had some variance when you played through them. I would have also liked to have some character development rather than be stuck at the neophyte stage. The combat is also very restricted: essentially being a selection on a menu list. But, of course, the game is not an RPG; it is a visual novel and, as noted, it tells a decent story with good presentation values, so it does its job and does it with some flair. Recommended.

Good Start
I really liked the game it reminds me of bookgames with branching paths. The art is amazing it does really a good job in setting the tone . The dialogue is captivating. There is no voice acting though. The game is really short and it ends abruptly that was a let down . I advise to play it maybe wait for a discount . I really hope for other similar games or even better a revamped version of this one in which you can affect more the future of the city.

Good atmosphere, little interactivity.
I actually enjoyed this quite a bit more than I expected, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, this is really just a visual novel, so expect even less narrative influence than your average Telltale game. You don't get very much leeway . There are a small handful of major and minor fail states, but unless you manage to forfeit your own life as the direct result of foolish decisions you will see the end of the game. Death excepted, the only real failure you can experience is alienating a character enough to not be able to completely their storyline. Second, having some frame of reference for Vampire: the Masquerade outside of the PC games is helpful. This is more like a low action, higher intrigue tabletop game, and in that respect I think it really nails the mood and look. As a laid back atmospheric experience, this is a really pretty solid and enjoyable, if a bit overpriced for what it is.
