Mediocrity Incarnate.
The story is dull and contrived with absolutely no charm, wit or depth to soften its very rough edges. The gameplay is quite average in every department for a modern title. The RPG-lite elements put heavy emphasis on the "lite". The only actual objective improvement is that it's graphically superior to the first as should be expected but that's because of UE5, not the work of TCR, so beyond that everything that TCR actually did and implemented themselves is ultimately a step backwards in every conceivable way compared to what was literally a broken unfinished game released 20 years ago. The only people this game could possibly genuinely appeal to are those who consume mindlessly because any slop is better than nothing at all to them. - Going forward, actual WoD and VtM:B fans can only hope that this bombs and leads to Paradox selling off White Wolf to someone that sees the IP as more than just a product and maybe in another 5-10 years we'll get something actually deserving of our money that genuinely improves upon the first game rather than this underwhelming lazy cash grab.
