Ultima™ 7 The Complete Edition

What can i say that hasn't already been said about the greatest of all Roleplaying games.. I will say this.. Thankyou GOG for fixing the speed issue now i can play this game with out the cpu speed killing my character due to starvation. This is gaming at its best! i dare say this Ultima 7 Blackgate is one of the first true open worlds which few match today.. Better brush up on the old runic language again and dust off you'r old maps because there's so much to see and do in this old 28 MB game.,

I will make my review brief as many reviewers before me have pointed out why this game is so amazing. It's simply a work of art. I had a short romance with Ultima 7 a couple years ago and decided to come back to it. This game is almost 20 years old and even though I don't even use the Exult engine to play it (I want to check the original version first) I have to say that in my opinion this is still the best cRPG ever made. Considering the fact that it was created before Fallout or Arcanum I bow my head to the developers - the world they created, and what follows it, the level of immersion, is simply astonishing.

Ultima 7 was ahead of its time. With its stunning graphics, innovative quests, in-depth characters and rich storyline, this game is an eternal classic that sets the standard for modern RPGs. 20 years later, I *still* enjoy playing this game, and do so on a yearly basis.

This is probably on of the best PC role playing games ever. The graphics where good for the time the story is amazing and the gameplay is greatness.

I loved the Ultima series up to 5. I didn't care for 6 so when 7 first came out, I didn't even bother with it. I saw Part 2, Serpent Isle in the store one day at a low price so I thought I'd give it a try. I was glad I did. I quickly became my favorite. It was the first game I can remember that not only had a day/night cycle but people actually followed them. You could find them eating breakfast at inn, going to work, walking in the park, etc. Not to mention that pretty much anything can be moved, pushed, manipulated in some way. Bake bread, change a baby, act in a play, almost anything. I have the Ultima Collection containing 1-8 and play 7 using Exult. I don't know if that's what Gog is using but it's great to have this game here. Even though I already have it, I will buy it from Gog to show my support for this awesome site.
