Tyrian 2000

I really like the original graphics, the gunplay, and the lore. What a nice gem. There is an improved version available at github.com/opentyrian which can make use of these assets.

I remember playing this game with my cousin when we were kids. I completely forgot the name of the game. Thanks GOG for bringing back memories. I always liked the visuals and sound effects in this game. The variety of weapons, which all looked quite cool, and other customizations made for great replayability. Until I played the game again recently, I didn’t realize the campaign was packed with quirky lore, hidden secrets, and an unusual story about intergalactic plant matter.

A classic SHMUP shooter and can be played with mouse control! Nice soundtrack too!

This was my first game I played on my pentium 133...I had to overclock with the dipswitches to 166 to get the wild graphics to run smooth with my S3 trio.

the music was one of my favorite parts of this game, the gameplay is the same but the music has been degraded from the original, with missing notes and odd rhythms, it sounds like not only sdid they use a different synth, but they messed up the midi files too
