I had never heard of this little gem of a game, and I truely thank GOG.com for having it as a free gift because I would have never thought of downloading it otherwise. It's amongst the best shooters I have ever played- I am on my second play through and am enjoying it just as much! I have also downloaded a couple other games that look similar to this and am enjoying them too. I wish I would have found this game years ago so I could have been enjoying it all along. Excellent music (keeping in mind the games age), superb play control and insane weapons upgrades!

Wow... Until I just downloaded and played this game on a whim I had no idea I'd even played it before, let alone played it so much! It seems I must have owned a demo or shareware version because I remember playing the first episode over and over. I wanted the full game so much back then, needing to see what ships and weapons I could unlock. Well, it took 17 years but I eventually got it and for free no less! It's a vertically scrolling shoot-em-up with a highly customisable ship and some plot stuff that I never read. The music is excellent, upgrading your ship is addictively fun and it even has lots of cool hidden stuff, just like games used to have. It's great, it's free and there's absolutely no reason not to try it out.

This brings back really awesome memories! There is a Co-Op arcade mode and a player vs player mode as well! Better than most recent Vertical scrollers too!
