Tyrian 2000

Like the title says, this game is a true classic. I've bought the original Tyrian when I was still a kid, and to be able to play Tyrian 2000 now is great. I used to play Tyrian 2000 through OpenTyrian, but that one is missing the fifth Episode, so it's essentially incomplete. This version here has it, and now i'm going to play it :D

I love this game because it reminds me of japanese shoot em ups such as the gradius series,the star soldier series,the darius series,the space invaders, and last but not least the galaga series.

this game brings me back to the years of shooting everything in sight while dodging bullets thought to be impassable, almost gradius-like... good memories do come back to life... Thanks GOG

The game is free, so it's a no brainer, you should try it. The difficulty is all over the place and some weapons are simply useless, but once you figure it out, the game has a lot of content and will offer a challenge for those who wish it. I had a ton of fun playing it because it's so simple and fast to start and game and get to blowing stuff up. 5 stars despite the flaws because it's just fun and free.
