Tropico 4

Tropico 4 is an excellent game. It has nice graphics (for a 2011 game), amazing soundtrack, and good sense of humour. In terms of gameplay, it isn't very difficult, and thanks to that, playing Tropico 4 is very relaxing experience. I recommend that game to every fan of city-builders.

Tropico 1 was a great game because like many old games it was simple, the more systems and mechanics you shove into a game the harder it is to fine tune and balance the various aspects against each other; on the otherhand more mechanics to interact with makes the game funner, and that's how I'd look at the Tropico series. If you want pretty graphics, or you just want to relax with a nice city builder than Tropico 4 is superior to Tropico 1, however it can certainly be a challenging game if you prefer it. The only reason I wouldn't buy Tropico 4 is if I owned Tropico 3. 4 is a bit like a really good DLC to 3, with it's own DLC to boot, but there's really no downsides to it and personally I think they really make the difference, just not enough of a difference to make it make 4 a must buy if you already own and enjoy 3. There's a lot of personalities that really liven up the game which is my favorite change, each faction in addition to a random citizen in the city now is also co-represented by an eccentric weirdo that are lovably comedic.

The most relaxing and funny city builder I have ever played. Hilarious mission objectives, supreme soundtrack that never gets boring, many possibilities of making money, lots of building to choose from, AI of citizens can handle large cities. Only battles with rebels seem too random for me - sometimes you can loose many soldiers only because rebels move in huge stacks and soldiers don't. Generally speaking - awesome game!

This game are fun whatever version you buy, Make booze for Agent Sasha or Coffee for the Americans, its a game in irony how the world works. Greats fun muchopesos a must have.

good upgrade from Trop1 and 2 - never got 3 due to compatibility issues with my computer, so skipped straight to 4.
