Trine is a physics-based action game where three characters combine their powers to devise clever solutions to challenges created by hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics where each character's different abilities and tactics can be used to invent new ways to overcome obstacles and save the kingdom!
The single-player game is fantastic fun, but Trine is one of those games best played with a friend in co-op mode. Awesome puzzle / team solve game!
I've only JUST found this but it is an awesome "figure out how to get there" side scroller! It just works... I knew nothing about this game before GOG popped it up in my "winter sale" list... I love it... it is nice to go into games blind and figure out what is going on! If you are an old cat like me and you like games like VIKINGS and LEMMINGS then you will get the premise. GOG had version 1 through 4 on sale for like 12 dollars... Best bang for the buck out there!

Linux version outdated
The Linux version of the game is outdated and won't start on my Linux Mint 20 machine. Even after trying the solution from the forum (removing the old zlib libraries from the lib folder of the game) it just won't start. Therefore the game might only work with the older Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, listed in the system requirements.
