An action platformer with size-changing mechanics. Be quick and nimble or large and in-charge!
Tribal Hunter is a classic style action platformer game. The player become legendary guardian spirit, "Munch". Hunts enemies and can eat them to increase their fullness meter. If you eat enough, you will grow in size! Your size and fullness then also functions as a magic meter that you can spend for various effects like healing yourself or casting powerful magic like fireball!
Becoming bigger has both pros and cons. Your punch will become much more powerful at larger sizes along with increased damage resistance from your bouncy full body! However, becoming bigger also means you are a bigger target for enemies to hit. Also, certain types of enemy attacks are piercing, dealing extra damage to your full tight body, so be careful!
There is a diverse cast of people to be found on the island. Explore the island and talk to them. Rescuing people helps your tiny village grow, making it a popular place to be. They can provide useful information and help you on your journey.
There is a large array of enemies blocking your path. Tribal Hunter has 9 different zones, each having its own enemy set and visual style. Explore each of them to save your village! The fate of the island is in your hands!
No adventure is complete without a bit of challenge though, each zone has its own unique boss which will stand in your way and test your might! They may be challenging, but that makes your victory all the more satisfying! (Some boss have some "unusual" way to defeat :D )
But adventuring isn’t ALL you do… Every hero’s journey needs some downtime, though the island’s people may have unique ideas for how to spice things up. Play a humorous minigame for additional rewards! Munch is enjoying this………… probably….
Travel through the island, help the villagers and discover the hidden secret of the island. Can you beat all the challenges and save your tribe?

Why buy on GOG.COM?
DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play.
I totaly agree with these ones who say that it's not a game to show at the main page of Gog, because it's obviously a fetish game and it's obviously not for everybody...
This mistake aside, I'm surprised by the initiative and I like it ! Furry kinks aside because it's too weird for me, it looks like an honest plateformer game with an enjoyable weight gain concept. Make a woman as playable character then I'll take it for 10€. Make a characters custom system and a Dead Cell-like procedural level generator then I'll take it for 30€.
Tribal Hunter: Complete [Melonsoda Soft]
Explore a world as Munch, the Guardian of the Island, to defeat the locals and bosses who are allegedly causing damage to the eco-system by consuming your enemies and expanding in size [Munch can get extremely large] to save the villagers' homes, with clean 2D art visuals, a soundtrack that is better than it should be, and gameplay that is straight out of a simple Metroid-vania experience.
I give this a Golf Score of: Birdie
Folks, we have "Succubus" and a ton of weird human anime stuff not always of good quality or gameplay. This game, comparing to the mentioned, is more than okay and the quirk is unique. Did anyone done so before? No. Let's love unique experiences 1st/ We have "Webbed" also, everyone loves... this furry game with a spider, where the spider saves her partner from a bird and a billion of other furry-related games. "Stray." "Cult of the Lamb," the list go on. Accept it, folks, Furries are the mainstream practically. Starting from the ancient times of Egyptian gods, we are here to stay.
Hate has no place and must not be done towards this product. It deserves 5 out of 5. Furries are a part of us, and everyone knows who Sonic is, we grown up on anthropomorphic cartoons. I want more different games, not less.
All the guide information is about controllers. I don't have a controller. There's no option to swap the guide to keyboard inputs.
Also the keyboard controls are quite bad. Why do I have to use my WASD to control my projectile angle? I should be able to just point my mouse.
The poor controls were too frustrating so I quit after less than 1 hour of play.
No matter the silly concept or big-time youtuber endorsements, what you have here is a game where the developer just couldn't help themselves. Every part of the actual gameplay experience is frustrating, regardless of difficulty. Buggy wall collision, extremely long end-lag on absolutely everything, enemies designed specifically to annoy you (or in the case of slimes, having a hitbox that just doesn't go well with the clunky controls), ALL enemies deal HUGE amounts of contact damage, your options for healing are either 'spend forever grinding for health sodas' or have no in-combat healing whatsoever (because your only other method of healing involves having to stand still).
The entire game is just a confused mess that only survives because of its cutesy art style, patreon backers, and fetish content that makes people overlook the actual critical issues with the core gameplay loop. A polished turd is, sadly, still a turd.
