Trepang2 features solid combat and pleasing visuals, however is let down by a lack of finish and some poor design choices. The game can be frustrating at times too, with difficultly spikes and an auto save systems which forces replay of the same section multiple times prior to overcoming a difficult section. There’s nothing I love more than replaying the same section over and over again. Good try devs, but not up to standard.
Some of the absolute best gunplay in an FPS comparable to Fear. The only critisims I have are not being able to aim with iron sights and the campaign is disjointed.
This game is fantastic. Definitely comparable to F.E.A.R. in many ways but also stands with an identity of its own. The firefights are frantic and intense, thrilling. There are enough difficulties to keep you coming back for more and a good dose of horror.
Really just a great job here.
