Description
The year is 1989 and deep in the sweltering heat of the Mayan jungle, camouflaged among the Inca ruins, Ernesto Cruz catches his breath for a few moments and admires his handiwork, bodies strewn across the temple ruins, as he makes a last gasp effort to board a DEA plane to take him to safety. He never made it home, the tragic victim of an alleged 'overdose’. Two weeks later, Ernesto's son, Ramiro Cruz is hauled out of jail by the DEA to be told his twin brother, Tommy, works for them as an undercover agent and has some new information about their father's death. But, Tommy has had an accident with a hand grenade and now Ramiro must take his brother's place in an undercover operation closing in on the ruthless drug cartel overlord Papa Muerte.

Take control of Ramiro Cruz, a man on a crazy mission through Mexico's drug-fuelled underworld. An amazing combat system keeps the action intense, mixing third person action with an incredible combo system for maximum carnage - and maximum replayability. Game of my childhood

Fun game in Mexico! Nice skills to unlock to help with mission, nice music. Overall 10/10! Somewhat Max Payne in different setting ;)

Hey, kids, wanna buy some fun?

It's a semi-sandbox action game with bad one-liners and insane power-ups. And the music! Various urban upbeat styles (metal, hip-hop and more) in Spanish by Molotov, Deliquent Habits and Control Machete. The only way this could be any more of a recommendation is if the game came with a licensed soundtrack in the goodies (a man can dream).

fun gta clone

the usual gta-like shenanigans in a cool 80s mexican setting. combos, bullet time, etc. one of those games I started just to see how it plays and ended up 'accidentally' completing it. just one more mission, then another. there's some open-world stuff but it's not padded to infinity.

Classic 6th gen thrills that just works

This is a game from a time where player fun was at the forefront of mainstream game design. And in this regard TO succeeds with flying colors, by mixing a bits of Devil May Cry, Max Payne and THPS into a arcade driven cocktail that is just oh so simple to get into and enjoy. The only major drawback are its quite poor attempt at a open world implementation that sits somewhere between the ideas of GTA 3 and Sly Raccoon, but succeeds in neither direction. The developers were humble enough to see it for what it was, and made it almost completly optional, as you can very early just teleport instantly to the mission start points. Major bonus points for a licensed soundtrack that is both novel and has dynamic layering in the songs that gives a more intrinsic reward for keeping your kill combo going.
