Tormented Souls is a love letter and throwback to the old school survival horror games, warts and all, even including the age-old tank controls found in the games it looks to emulate. Honestly, it does a good job in this, setting the atmosphere, ramping up the stakes and only rarely venturing into the absurd when it comes to puzzle logic. While not completely innocent, with some nonsense puzzles, and a questionable art style for the protagonist, there's enough on offer to keep you going and it makes it more than worth the reasonable price of the game.

Probably not finished - Bugged
I tried the game and I am fighting with the language option of the game. When the main character dies y ou language option changes to English and then when you try the option menu, you can't change accurately the language. You get a random language. I will ask for a refund an try maybe try it later.

Diabolical
This game can't even managed the basic issue of key mapping. The save system is a joke as relies on you finding both save points and disks to use, the later which are rarer than rocking horse sh*t. This means you have to constantly redo areas as the nail gun itself does not work correctly and you can't hit anything. Despite holding the rmb to aim and the lmb to fire, the nails go everywhere but the target due to the stupid directional controls which randomly spin you around. Less time should have been spent on the graphics on more on gameplay. All glitz and no substance.

Controller Required?
I dunno, folks. VERY pretty, decent sound, manage to use the mouse to open letter, look at picture, and apparently get cracked over the head. Then I'm done - I don't have a controller, trying to use mouse/keyboard combo. All I can do is spin envelope - in spite of all the "clever" keyboard combinations I have tried (including pounding on every key :) ). A manual, or instructions for dumb people like me might be helpful: nothing useful on forum, and haven't found anything online so far. Very disappointing...

I've set sound and music level to 0% and EVEN then jumpscare music when pirelli man shows blows my head off. Game was fun for first hour.
