Tormented Souls is a love letter and throwback to the old school survival horror games, warts and all, even including the age-old tank controls found in the games it looks to emulate. Honestly, it does a good job in this, setting the atmosphere, ramping up the stakes and only rarely venturing into the absurd when it comes to puzzle logic. While not completely innocent, with some nonsense puzzles, and a questionable art style for the protagonist, there's enough on offer to keep you going and it makes it more than worth the reasonable price of the game.

Such a greac Tittle, a really well done
The game is fantastic, it is a combination between silent hill and resident evil, I cannot wait to finish this game and start the second game.

Its a good classic horror game.
Like i said in the title, its a good classic horror game. Inspired by the best of the genre, without actually becoming one of them. Still pretty good

Insanely difficult!
Play at own risk - I gave up after replaying the first 30 minutes like 10 times, trying to get a decently perfect run so I would have a chance for the rest of the game. But I always took damage from the enemies, since they have loooong range attacks. And every enemy take like 5+ bullets to kill, and they often reach you before you can shoot all those "bullets". The very limited save-points make it very frustrating! Game looks good anyway, and sound pretty good (annoying footsteps though). Not very frightening, compared to real horror games like Alien Isolation...mostly horror about getting hurt before you can save again so you won't have to replay the last hour...
