For a giveaway game it's not bad, a few steps above Newgrounds web games of ~15 years ago. It's actually kind of fun running around wrecking stuff and causing havoc. Typical of woke entertainment the narrative isn't anything substantive to pay attention to, and works to keep all the correct hamsters on their wheels. The progressives get to role play fighting some power structure only they perceive; non-progs get the chance to be mad about it. Rinse, wash, repeat.
These game let players act out some woke resistance fantasy in a time when the left already runs everything....so in effect you take on the role of some group who is rebelling against itself. On a personal note, I enjoy watching the rise of woke culture pop out these kinds of narratives. Progressives are are never capable of actually creating anything, just destroying or at best appropriating what came before. The number of imaginative ways they come up with to destroy their own societies provides an endless dumpster fire to watch.
This games an easy 4, its a nice little horde game that's honestly a bit rough about the edges when it comes to controls, and if you didn't notice the review bombing by folks whose limited knowledge of political ideologies means they cant tell the difference between Totalitarianism and Syndicalism due to effective suppression of any perceived threat to the 'elites' in their home nation, this game has political themes.
Haven't even played this game yet but five stars just to annoy all the whiny fascists giving it one. Also
huge kudos for being a worker-owned studio. May update with a real review after playing.
