In Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Lara's experiences changed her
deeply. She’s become a darker, hardened, imperious version of herself. A
desperate phone call from her former mentor Von Croy leads her to Paris.
But as she arrives, she discovers that the old man was brutally murdered
and a plot to frame her for his death is in motion. Avoiding the people
pursuing her, she needs to clear her name and unravel the mystery of an
ominous medieval order of alchemists and mystics. Surprisingly, she doesn’t
have to take on the world by herself this time. Lara’s kindred spirit, an
adventurer by the name of Kurtis Trent, is there to offer a helping hand.
But can he be trusted?
With a new graphics engine, new moves, new playable character, and a new
approach to storytelling, this Tomb Raider game feels more like a Dan Brown
novel than an Indiana Jones movie. Be sure not to miss this new chapter in
Lara Croft’s saga.
Play as Lara or her male counterpart, Kurtis Trent.
Story-driven gameplay with dialogs actively shaping the plot.
New controls allowing hand-to-hand combat, stealth attacks, last second ledge grabs and more.
Game does not run. I am not the only person to have this issue. Also, since this Tomb Raider game is from 2003, it probably is a lackluster version. The franchise is only starting to get good from around 2007.
The controls are horrible the game isnt even updated or configured properly (I had to go online to figure out why it wasnt even launching correctly) I cant take screenshots. Seriously unless youre a die hard TR fan give this one a miss you aint losing nothing.
I will say that I am not in the least bit surprised that CDPR allow garbage like this to be sold on their site given the current condition of Cyberpunk 2077.
Look; the PS2 version of this game? It's actually DECENT!
But the PC version? IT DOES NOT WORK! (Believe me; I tried booting it up, and it wouldn't even START.)
My advice? DON'T buy this version. Instead, get a working PS2, and buy yourself copy, of "Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness", for the PS2; I guarantee you that it's MUCH worth your time, compared to this!
If it actually WORKED well, AND supported the option of a USB or bluetooth gamepad? I would have called this a decent video game, and given it AT LEAST 3/5 stars, for a rating!
Why? Why put this of all games on your site. System shock 2, Myst 4 and any other game would have BEEN FINE I played this years ago and found everything from game breaking bugs to bad controls even for the time and on top of all this a story with tons of plot holes. This is the worst tomb raider game ever made period! I recomend this to no one, not even the creepiest of Lara Croft fans.
