Play the whole series!

You really have to dive in to this trilogy and learn about the characters or just enjoy the stories. They are both funny and sad and you cannot help but be drawn into events. Oh and wouldn't it be so lovely if you could really do what these scientists try to achieve for their patients? You enter the story and just go with it doing various things but nothing too onerous. The music is lovely too. Just go buy it - you know you want to!

Great Game. I'm Glad I Finally Played It

You'll be able to finish it in one night, but it's a very nice story. My only complaint is the puzzles in Act I, but I'd still recommend the game anyways.

Not my cup of tea

Most people who read the description and see the screenshots of this game will know right away whether it's for them or not. I'm probably in a small minority who was disappointed with it. Don't get me wrong, I love adventure games and wasn't put off by the "un-game-like" nature of To The Moon (make no mistake, this is basically an interactive animated movie). The style of storytelling is strongly influenced by JRPGs, which I've simply grown a distaste for. It's just a little too "on the nose" for me. The music is very good, but too schmaltzy for my taste. The graphics are fantastic if you like SNES-era sprites (I do). All in all, I'm glad I played it, but will probably skip the next Episode that's alluded to in the end credits.

An excelent narrative over a bland game

"To The Moon" is a great, if not a little sappy, visual novel-esque game that doesnt take itself too seriously, yet is incredibly serious at the same time. The story follows two doctors going through a dying man's memories in an attempt to fufill his greatest wish. In all, the story was very emotional and had some interesting plot twists later on. Anything the story does, however, is ruined by the dreadful controls, incredibly slow walking speed, and invisible walls in all the wrong places. The soundtrack can get a little repetitive as well, although I personally wasn't bothered by it. In all, its a great story to pick up if its on sale for under £4, although at full price you might find it a bit lacking in gameplay and lengh. Played on: MacBook Pro 2011 (BootCamp) OS: Windows 8 SP1 How much I played: Cleared game in five (5) hours
