TimeShift™

I should note that I had played the game around the time it got published, so I couldn’t know about GOG’s version that I read from others to be maybe unplayable (?). So, the five stars are only about the actual game itself. As is the case in Crysis games, where a suit can be used accordingly in order to benefit the user, in Timeshift we have the unique idea that your suit can change time (backwards, forwards, or stopping it)! It can be used both for facing the enemies and for solving some puzzles. Very interesting idea, many possibilities! And well-designed futuristic weapons! As a negative, I’d say that the game takes place almost entirely in industrial environments, which can be a little repetitive.

Finally got this to work on my CPU, game gives off FEAR 1 vibes with Half life 2 mixed. Good gunplay

Not completely exactly original, but it's time spent playing this game is time well spent. Don't expect much of a story or anything though, this game carries it's self on it's mechanics.

A fun distraction with forgettable plot and good action. Although frustrating at times. MC can die easily and enemies feel like bullet spounges sometimes. But time powers are handy. Plus there are some cool weapons. I personally loved the crossbow with exploding bolts. PS. Those artillery strikies at the end were irritating. No idea how to dodge them properly, might be just pure luck. Took a little out of my enjoyment.

Pros: + graphics + physics + time manipulation mechanics + art style Cons: - short - few weapons - repetive (not very diverse) maps - trivial plot
