bugged as hell
It's been a while since release and the game is bugged beyond playability for me. Most cards don't work accoring to their descriptions. Card says "all units" - works for all units in selected row only. Card says "play all copies of this card" but if you play it from graveyard it doesn't work. Card says "doesn't work on champions" - you can cast it on a champion. Card says "strength 2" after playing card has 5 strength (no bonuses applied). I've also had cases where a combar would be lost after first round even though you're supposed to fight to best out of 3 (and yeah it was first round not a fight that starts at round 3). Navigation of main character is horrible, she's unable to reach the spot where you click and keeps spinning in circles or stops halfway. Interactions on objects keep blinking unless you stand right at the object. Your character can use 3 items while in the skill tree you can buy a skill that "increases your item limit to 3". As stated by others the movement on the map is sooooooo slooooooooow. It's really annoying! Narrator phrases are annyoing when added inbetween the dialogue, like "I won't do it - she said. Let's go." Transitions between UI screens are too long which is annoying as you do that all the time. Deck management is unclear - you don't know how many cards you have vs how many you can have vs how many you can craft vs how many are available but not used. You don't know types of cards in an easy way - it's either all cards or filter by type, no easy overview. I find it also funny that the game teaches you the rules of the game and then 90% of battles are exception to the rule with new mechanics or objectives. What's the point of having rules that apply to less than 50% of gameplay? All in all - bought it at 50% discount and would not recommend it for that kind of money. I'd wait for 80% discount if you're curious but seriously this is more frustrating than fun.

Great game, terrible marketing
THIS IS NOT A WITCHER GAME. There is hardly a Witcher to be found in this game. It's a great game by its own right, though it definitely has some bugs that need fixing and the ending has this one part about it that can definitely be improved, but overall it's a great game. Just don't expect Geralt or any other Witchers to show up, and you won't be disappointed.

Starts promising but ends poorly
DEI ALERT Only for games fans, and considering that I play it in 2025 more for Netflix show fans. And of course for lovers of Gewnt multiplayer game. From the plot perspective action is set during events shown in Withcher's books, but the story is mostly altered and many times it contradicts the events and facts from the books. The good thing is that the game has many plot choices, which have consequences later. Gameplay - its basically a single-player Gwent with text boxes which reminds me paragraph game. The game shows the player a text box with 2 or more choices. Some of them have described instant results (mostly resources or army morale), and some of them will have results later. If someone is allergic to DEI should avoid this game. Plot and characters have a strong influence of early DEI influence on gaming. Music is not good not terrible. As a Pole and fan of Polish dubbing, I can say this is well done.
