Description
Thief™ II: The Metal Age gives you a chance to revisit the dark streets of the City, now changed by the Order of Mechanists, a new cult which has embraced many of the followers of the fallen religion of the Hammerites. In a world of steam robots and cameras Garrett will have to face a new opponent - Sheriff Gorman Truart, a lawman determined to rid the City of all criminals, starting with master-thief Garrett. Equipped with a new set of tools, including flash mines and scouting orbs, Garrett has to keep himself alive and unveil the secret behind Truart's actions. Starts out looking as a simple case of corruption will eventually become much more, and Garrett again finds himself a reluctant savior--but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to rob the City blind while he saves it!

Dark Engine: One of the best ever made !
So many years after publishing 3 games based on the dark engine from Looking Glass and they never get old ! The game engine gives very good physics response and overall lightning. That would be great seeing any new game based on this engine. As to the game itself - just like Thief 1 and System Shock 2 - sipmply a masterpiece...

The god of sneaker shooters!
I was first enthralled by this series when I downloaded a demo of Metal Age. Playing at night, with only the glow of the PC screen to light my keystrokes, I fell in love at first sight with this dark but electric cool FPS. I later purchased (and eventually beat) The Dark Project, often replaying the final level for my amusement. Though dated the visuals still give me goosebumps, whether peering down into a cavernous hall or up at a castle skyline, this series will never be surpassed!

Play Thief the dark project and then jump into Thief the Metal age, hours of fun

Great stealth game
As of now, I haven't beaten the game. But from what I've played and seen by reviews, clearly this one is a great game as well, just like the first. From level one it was great. It's basically more of Thief 1 with more levels and extra mechanics/enemies. That's not a bad thing. It's great.
