Thea 2: The Shattering is a follow-up to the successful Thea: The Awakening, which brings the idea of innovative genre hybrid, with elements of turn-based, 4X strategy, survival, RPG and a card game, to entirely new and thoroughly polished level.
The player takes on a role of a deity from the Slavic mythology-inspired pantheon and as such, controls the fate of a small flock of believers struggling for survival. This goal can be achieved in many ways, from diplomacy to war, from exploring to conquering, but any playstyle will surely lead to completely unique adventures thanks to the procedurally generated environments. Rich options, from crafting to town-building system, as well as the co-op multiplayer gameplay, make Thea 2 an ideal choice for tactically minded players, who are up for a challenge.
Key features:
Explore rich, procedurally generated and diverse new environments and biomes.
Expand your influence in the world, build towns, widen your territories or choose the much tougher path of a nomad.
Exterminate your way to victory, battle through the vast array of creatures or simply strive to survive till sunrise.
Exploit the many wonders of the land - discover and combine resources, collect materials and craft them into your equipment.
Become a deity of Thea and direct your Chosen to victory in a world inspired by Slavic myth and folklore.
Play together - co-op mode for up to 3 players allows you to build your pantheon with friends.
Choose your playstyle - become a warlord or a diplomat, or simply remain an outsider wandering the world in search of glory.
Survive any way you can and choose your challenge style as you resolve conflicts via battle, mental or spiritual challenges.

Game is little bit RNG oriented. Worth it for that, because it makes game replayable and almost all RNG options are worthy of reloading just for funny outcome.
Game is unbelievably pretty. Worthy of such a amazing gameplay
In this game only fools play with the one save. Customize your difficulty guys. Easy is actually hard. Anything above is for challenge gods.
Some intriguing concepts for a story-telling game. Good art. Game is stable but needs a lot of development work. Would classify it as an early beta.
(However I have my doubts about the development team after looking at some of the scripts in the event editor.)
The second instalment of one of my favorites 4x/rpg/exploration game. The art was improved, more customization and a different combat, but still the same vein that made the first one great.
Devs continue to update, balance and add new things to the game. Recomended.
I got this game for free how could I not recommend it. But in all seriousness, Thea 2: The Shattering is a good sequel.
There is nothing major I can fault only little things but I know they will get addressed as the Devs are fantastic about receiving and working with player feedback.
Some of the things I find as great new additions are;
Being able to traverse the sea to new lands offers the option for great new events and enemies. It can be considered a little average at the moment but I'm sure it will be expanded upon. There are some minor issues with sea travel but nothing that ruins it.
The new coloured artwork is beautifully detailed. All of it, even the characters I'm not fond of in appearance are great, it's hard to fault any of them. I don't pick my kickstarter reward character as my favourite, no not me, not playing favourites like that. I Promise.
The new creatures are for the most part great, pinecone demons, wind demons, feral elves, sharks, krakens and more. Fantastic additions. The light enemies in my opinion feel a little, I feel bad for saying it, cheap as they mainly consist of existing races and demons.
Those are some of the new things I find great about the game. If you liked Thea: the Awakening then I highly recommend you try Thea 2: The Shattering.
