The Witness

Got this free from Xbox Games with Gold. It's an OK puzzle game, but pretty repetitive. Once you figure out the basic format of the puzzles, they are mainly quite similar (Drawing patterns of lines on a screen in a certain way). For a free game, it was worth the gameplay for a few hours - I did not complete the game but got to a stage where it just became boring. But for the 40 odd bucks they are charging here, it's a definite no from me.

Perfect for relaxation

Even after finding some of the tutorials, I just can't. It's too open world, and I have no idea how to progress. I'm just running (as long as I'm not turning) around like a chicken with its head cut off.

It is like a Tarkovsky movie. Not for everyone but there will always be a fanatic fanbase.

One of the many great games by Obsidian. It's thought provoking, has an interesting range of characters, and a solid use of player agency to build your story. Nearly perfect.
