It will last you months, yet not waste your time. Above all, it has a vivid, enduring personality, something that is exceedingly rare among its breed of mega-budget open-world epics (and that will probably be rarer still once Hideo Kojima and Konami part ways later this year). Buy this game! Amazing!
But to be fair, to get the most out of the game you should play the first two. Your characters attributes and actions carry over from 1 to 2 then to 3. So your alliances are remembered. Your decisions as well. It's an amazing story which deserves to be understood from the beginning. BTW.. Netflix is releasing a Witcher series in 2018. https://media.netflix.com/en/press-releases/the-witcher-saga-coming-to-Netflix

Best game ever made
I have this on my steam account and almost feel ashamed I didn't have GOG back then, anyhow -- This game simply put is a masterpiece. W3 is what every other game made on this planet is trying to be, CD Projekt && CD Projekt RED are a game | distribution company that I have come to respect and will always look to their games favorably. Thanks to the Dev team who made it and gave me a wonderful story to be a part of, make a movie series out of this to replace what star wars was once to me.

One of the best games of all time
One of the best games of all time. I've never played a more compelling, complete, and fun RPG. The Blood and Wine Expansion is the size of some full priced AAA games, with a better story than 90% of them. I'm so excited for everything that CDPR has coming in the future.

There is nothing better
It is simply the best what's done so far in that genre. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the Game of the Year Edition - including all of his DLC's - has a lot of high quality content, that has a soul and a maturation that is rare in the industry. Wild Hunt is worth your attention for a very long time. A thousand thanks, CD Project Red P.S. There's nothing more to say. Only that you really will miss something very unique, if you do not give it a try. ; )
