Great game; bad voice acting.
The graphics, music, and gameplay are all very good in this game. The cartoon style is vibrant and the game animation is very smooth (although, strangely, the animation in the cutscenes between acts is less well done. The animation in them is choppy and the quality is just somewhat poor; one bad guy we see there is literally nothing but a badly drawn mouth). The gameplay is classic point n' click with some fun and challenging puzzles. HOWEVER... The voice acting (in the English version) is absolutely horrible. None of it is very good, but the main character is terrible... the worst. He sounds almost exactly like Adam Sandler doing his squeaky Waterboy voice. It's terrible. LUCKILY, the game has the option of turning off voices and going text-only. I actually liked that, and I assume most GOG usuals will too, but anyway you should be warned; I've yet to meet anyone who has ever made it all the way through this game with the voice acting turned to ON.

A game that has the shine of old days.
Be prepared for one of the best stories been told in computer entertainment. Be prepared for a mind-trip through concepts and puzzles that make you feel full. The main problem of adventures nowadays is not the graphics or the gameplay. It is the type of puzzles. Here you find puzzles that are embedded to the story, that are challenging. It is a game you will enjoy for one week or more. It is a game that brings you back to the Adventure.

Stupid, stupid ending
Yeah, intriguing story at first, great graphics, tough-as-nails puzzles you can solve with extra effort. Gets you to care about Sadwick and his worm. Gets you really worked up and excited for the climax. . . and then drops a stinking load of COP-OUT CRAP ON YOUR HEAD! Painfully, dreadfully cliche. For shame, for shame, for shame. Why do people still keep doing endings like this?

Great art , Puzzles are not very clear
You usually expect from an adventure game to challenge your mind with logical puzzles, and great story and art. This game has the art, and a bit of the story, but the puzzles are really not clear, there's not enough hints as for what to do next, for example you need to backtrack a lot and you don't always know when or where. the map should be more obvious about your next goals. you can't really tell much from the items you have and how you should use them or combine them. it seems like the puzzles are a bit tacked on the story and art. it's a nice game, but if you don't play a lot of adventure games, or if you want to just enjoy the story and great art direction without getting stuck because you have no clue on what to do next, i am not sure if it's worth the full price.
