Beautiful game made with love but...
The game really is beautiful. Great places, good anmations, lots of details... The main story is ok, nothing extraordinary but not too bland either. Voice acting... Some will hat it. The depressive clown is, well, depressive. The puzzles are generally logical inventory based combinations. Generally, because you will regulary be stuck on a totally illogic thing, something you would NEVER think of and the game doesn't give you a clue. It's really frustrating and is not what anybody likes in P&C, I tried to avoid a wakthrough but in the end I gave up. And a ton of pixel hunting : the game has a hint system (show you hotspots) and is designed with the idea that you will use it all the time.. A lot of items are just invisible in the background, don't try to do without the hints. What really saved the game to me was the writing. Not necessarly in the main quest or dialogues, but the amount of item combination that will give you a specific answer. even if it makes no sense to use W on Y, you probably wno't get a "that doesn't work" generic answer, but some pun, or attempt to understand what you might be trying to do. This attention to details really shows the love the devs put into this game. Even when you're stuck (and you will be) you don't feel like you're wasting your time.
