Great Game, Fantastic story-telling
TellTale's The Walking Dead is a masterpiece in storytelling. I don't think that I've built up as strong a connection for a character before I had played as Lee Everett. It has provided me with so many hours of content and sent me back over and over to see the outcomes of various situations. I've played all the other seasons by themselves before, so I knew a lot of what I was getting into but this collection brings back life to a game that is now a decade old (wow, I'm getting old). The enhanced graphics add so much more environmental storytelling and atmosphere than you can imagine. The sound design feels better and I love the music. I think I spent half of my play time listening to the soundtracks on the home menu. Usually for a game I would wait for a sale and then buy a game but if you're into strongly story-based point and click games then this is definitely worth the full price. However I've seen this game go on sale quite often with good deals. And if the point-and-click genre isn't your kind of thing, you might still just like this game. As someone who can't stand point and click games, I've spent over 40 hours in this game and still had fun doing so. The only issue I've had that has brought this down to a 4 star rating is that I couldn't access the developer commentaries. These commentaries were advertised to us in the description of the game, however whenever I try to watch them, both with casing of using and not using the galaxy client, I get errors telling me that I cannot access them with my current connection. I've attempted with other wifi networks all to no avail. Each of these networks were quite powerful so I do feel a bit scammed with my lack of commentary but the game is still definitely worth it. If GOG can manage to at least add the dev commentaries as an add-on for the game, then this would be a 5 star purchase for sure.
