The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is a weird release. While Xbox owns the developer, Private Division still retains the distribution rights to the first game. Which means the normal free upgrade is not here. Instead we have the definitive version of a great game locked behind some weird monetary decisions. If you never played the original, this is by far the best package available. If you did and are looking to upgrade what is here is nice, but not worth another $60. If you own all the DLC this is a solid $10 upgrade. Still I wish it was more accessible or at least a save transfer existed. It taints an otherwise solid release.

The Outer Worlds is an awesome game, so it's nice to have the option to enjoy it with all the amenities of a new generation of hardware. While the performance is a bit iffy, the visuals really pop, and the updated character models add to your immersion in this imaginative space adventure. It's no surprise we've got a second one on the way, and now you can get ready for the sequel on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in style.

For sheer memorable and engaging gameplay, I recommend The Outer Worlds. It was an absolute delight to play back in 2019, and it still holds up as one of my all-time favorite gaming experiences. I am pleased with the graphical upgrades and enhancements from The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition. Although, with less new content and more new bugs, it should have been a free upgrade for returning players

Runs really good on my older laptop.
I'm running it on a RTX 2070 laptop and it runs 60fps triple wide 1080p setup. I don't use my laptop monitor to game. It seems like this version had issues at launch, but seems to work pretty good now. The game it self is pretty solid. Very fallout like with a space theme. The game is a little short, but still solid.

Needed more time in the over
The dialogue branching is great, but the game falls short on the worldbuilding "corpo bad" is starting to get overdone in 2020s and the gameplay is horribly dull that even setting it to the hardest difficulty changes nothing. You are still showered with enough amunition to magdump any enemy with a heavy or medium weapon with no issues.

must buy, if you like games like fallout 3 , 4 etc then this game is it.
