average game for FPS maniacs
Geme in longer period is boring. after 40% of the game i startet to click anny dialoge and finish all quest by killing all NPC - you can easly do that after you gain some experience. Generally ok if you want to shoot a bit, but the story is not that good.

No romances, No problem...
Don't play this game thinking you'll have a house, significant other, and some kids. Not that kind of game. It's fun not because of the added stress of adding a family life, but because of old fasioned upgrading of weapons and armor. Finding out about your new companions and your ship. And seeing what fresh hell is right around the corner.

Beautiful RPG World
I found this game to be thoroughly enjoyable. The characters are well written and voiced, the colour palette is extremely warm and satisfying, combat is varied and satisfying, and the story covers many sentimental themes and emotions, and the soundtrack is absolutely perfect. I would recommend staying away from the Spacer's Choice Edition. Although it is supposed to be a remaster of this version that was released 3 years later, it has many technical difficulties that this original version doesn't. I bought it and requested a refund almost immediately.

Okay game, with a few turn offs.
I played this game as it was recommended by a friend. I was expecting something fallout-ish, but this just disappointed me. The story was OK, Gameplay and visuals reminded me of a cross between Fallout and Borderlands. I did finish the whole game but have no desire to go back to it or any sequels. I think my biggest gripe was the skill tree, it was just appalling, I remember leveling up and struggling to find anything worthwhile investing points into, which made the other mechanic of taking on flaws in order to gain extra points effectively useless as the penalty was always much worse than the actual gain. The loading screens took forever! I did play the PS4 version, so it may be better on PC, but there were so many and they took forever, even when going into a small area such as the spaceship interior. I can't remember anything fun about the weapons, they were functional, but that's about it. I personally wouldn't recommend it as there are other great games out there, but you might get some enjoyment out of it.
