Excellent RPG.
I am a fan of roleplay games, and I gave a try to Outer Worlds thinking it could be a kind of "Steampunk Mass Effect". I was quite wrong, except for the steampunk world, there's nothing of Mass Effect in game, nor what made me love Mass Effect trilogy. The companions are a lot less advanced in their personality, psychology and behaviour, than Bioware's ones. Although this default, many good ideas balance this and increase the value of the gameplay, like this crazy steampunk corporation-based world, the funny storyline, and the persistent bodies... Story = good idea, mix of future technology with old mechanic design, quests well included inside the storyline 5/5 3D graphics = very well designed, quite real and strange looking (alien worlds!) most of the time, except for few details (lava, water effects... even with high level hardware). 4/5 Human beings graphics = basically well crafted, but the faces look too similar, and the movements (when there are) look not real at all. 2/5 Animals and monsters = well designed for most of them, although the movements aren't too natural for some species, making them patrolling their territory like robots or like if they were stuck inside a cage 3/5 Sound effects, noises = Very good quality with an headset 5/5 French voices = Very good too, often the acting is better to hear than to watch... especially when the companions don't look at you/at each other while having a dialog, for example 5/5 Commands = Responsive commands, configurable controls, in game marking easy to understand and follow most of the time 5/5 Fighting items/level modes = Good progress of fighting difficulty on easy/normal/hard mode, weapons easy to use and to update 4/5 Total rating = 4/5.
