The Masterplan

This pharagraph was supposed to be at the end, but I changed the order to get the most important thing out of the way: most probably there'll be no more updates, seems like the team has dissolved or is doing something else, so all the crashes and ui problems are here to stay. I love heist games, it's my favorite theme, and since there's not too many of them, I usually love anything in this theme so keep that in mind if you're reading my review. With that said, this is really a great game, despite it's numerous flaws. There's many ways to go about robbing all the classic hits, like jewellry store, bank, art gallery and so on, it looks and plays a little like Door Kickers. Graphically it's ok, it does it's job (apart from the ui getting in the way all the time, like character inventory covering items you want to pick up) and it looks rather pleasing. Sounds are IMO significantly better, with crisp gunshots and pretty great music, though character voices sound dull (very minor complaint, there's barely any talk in the game, though I still don't like them). Crashing, while quite frequent, wasn't too painful for me, usually around every 1,5 hours. It's very short, I'd say the first playthrough should take you about 10-12 hours, but regardless, I'd say it's worth it.

I really like the idea and the atmosphere of the game. However the very bad controls totally destroy the fun for me. I can swap between my characters by using the hotkeys 1-9 but sometimes those hotkeys are randomly switches. Instead of 1 - 3 I have 2 - 4 or 1, 3 and 4 for my characters. During a mission! If you are a patient person you will still have a lot of fun with this game. If you are annoyed rather fast (because of very bad controls) you will get angry very soon. When hiring people for my (master)plans I can watch their ratings (speed, health, accuracy) but after hiring I have no more chance to do so. At least I did not found any possibility. The game is great but needs a lot of fixes. The devs posted in the steamforums that they are sorry bu they have no capacities for further bugfixes.
