The Last Stand: Aftermath

It is pretty good if you like roguelike games with slow progression.

Addictive gameplay if your into loot/ resource mangament. while it can be slightly tedious at times it later turns into you wanting to do just one more run.

I only played through like 5 survivors so far, but the game is quite fun. Aiming is a bit janky but not a major issue, more so in melee than ranged. Only is I couldn't get the controller to work, but it's more of a nuisance than a problem.

Movement scheme (controls) with mouse/keyboard is atrocious because the game gets hectic and your survivors last the whole of 3 seconds when surrounded by zombies. Sneaking around is cosmetic only and has no function - you can not avoid battling the zombies, and then the controls come into play again. There is no emotional aspect with your survivors - zombie apocalypse games live from emotions they instill, here it is all sterile and interchangeable because the characters die like flies and when they're gone you automatically get another one waiting in the line. Graphics and sound are good and the overall game world and premise would be ok if it were not for the above mentionend issues. If one is proficient with such controls, the game would get 3 and a half stars, for me - it's money wasted.

Watched some playthough videos, looked like a good game. 1 hour later and still can't get past the loading screen. Updated drivers, yadayadayada AMD Ryzen 7 1700 16 GB DDR 4 GTX 3060 12GB Broken Poptart Toaster (Hated those nasty things anyways) Windows 10 Ironically stuck at the Conman, er Conartist/Armor loading screen
