THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002

It's really either: You have a fighter joystick (or possibly even joypad might do), this game might worth it; This game was a great 2D fighter. Or: You don't ever waste your time on this... The port is done in most insincere manner. It's a straight blind direct port. You can't even remap controls. And the default keyboard scheme is set up in the most illogical way possible; QW and... what? XC? I would have understood if it were either QWAS or ASZX or that sorts... Just how are you supposed to quickly hit such keys so far from each other? What a bummer.. You might be able to use AutoHotkey or similar workaround on Windows, and there probably is a way on Linux too, but that's not the point. You shouldn't be the one who must care about that. Also worth mentioning is that the Linux version doesn't even uninstall when double-clicked from a file manager. It looks like the uninstall script is not handling paths properly.

the game for me run is not smoothly,and the locked control killed the joy for me,big time !

why is it written here that the game supports the controller if it's a lie?

The game is a good game, but this version of the disgusting operation is really unbearable!

Seriously, whoever made this port, I'd like to ask them how exactly I'm supposed to play a game like this moving my characters with keyboard arrows while attacking with some oddly pre-defined keys that you can't change at all. I'm giving this an extra star only because it was free when I got it. But don't bother unless you know any external software to re-map your keys or apps like Xpadder to play with a gamepad.
