At Last

Awesome port of a Sega arcade classic. I do recommend a Sega model 2 emulator on PC for those seeking original graphics and style. That said, this remake is an excellent experience and worth grabbing on sale.

A fun classic with a couple of twists

It took me twenty years, but I finally got the true ending! Oh, the game is a fun, blast from the past, emphasis on blast with how the modern scoring system works. You are actively encouraged to shoot the crap out of every piece of meat you can, while the classic mode emphasizes accuracy and tactical thinking. All in all, good, ol' zombie fun for a few afternoons.

Entertaining

I never played much of the original, so I can't rate it for accuracy, but as a game on it's own, it's pretty good. Being an arcade game, it's fairly short and built to eat quarters - avoiding some hits requires splt second reflexes or just knowing it's coming - but if you just want to spend 45 minutes dismembering zombies in a haunted house, it's hard to beat.
