mediocre - The main character isn't that great. - Can't perform choices to change the ending or anything really - Story is meh - Gameplay loop is ok - Gunplay leaves a lot to be desired

I enjoy The Evil Within 2 enough to buy and play it a third time(Steam/Ps4) here on GoG but this port is just awful. I get the same stuttery mess on both my machines: i7-6700K and GTX 1070 i7-8700K and RTX 2080 Super Port quality aside, This isnt a bad game. Graphics look a little washed out but the art direction is pretty solid at least for my tastes. Gameplay is very similar to the later Resident Evils (RE4 and up). Story is pretty silly but entertaining enough to keep you invested. TLDR An action packed 3rd person shooter with a silly but fun story. Highly recommend locking framerate at 30 which is crazy/unfortunate for a modern PC game.

Keyboard user here. I can't get equip or use items, and after half an hour of googling, it appears that it can only be done by modifying game files. Seems like it's probably a pretty good game, but how could I know? One of these days I may get a controller and try again, but if you do not have one DON'T buy this game.

Normies hated the original's unique but traditional design. In response they made the sequel the most by the numbers, conventional thing, imaginable. I hate it. This game is just The Last Of Us with a Evil Within reskin. Shinji Mikami be like "oh you normies don't see my vision? Fine, I won't have anything to do with actually making the sequel. You can eat what these unimaginative Bethesda morons give you lol" Shinji plz come back, I need you . . .
