You are the Ashter – a Slavic fire mage who wields time. You arrive in a village where reality has been distorted, and the villagers have left behind only smoldering hearths. Through your ability to bond with fire, you see what is hidden from others – traces, mythical beings, and spirits of past events. Will you be able to harness your powers to stop the ancient powers and change the inhabitants’ fate?
The End of the Sun is a mystery-filled first-person adventure and exploration game set in a Slavic fantasy world. The core gameplay focuses on discovering an open world using a magical map and forming connections with bonfires. Each bond reveals new traces and events invisible to ordinary people. Fully kindled bonfires become gateways to time travel.

Feel the might of the fire of time. Influence the paths of heroes’ fates — restore the course of events to its rightful track and discover new fragments of an epic story. Travel across four seasons, separated from each other by many years. Witness the lives of the same heroes at different stages, during the greatest Slavic festivals. Time and hearths are intertwined. Okay. When I first saw this game, I immediately knew that I will buy it when it gets released. I held myself to my word and I have a really positive opinion about it.
I have read the negative comments before and while I cannot deny them completely, I will make them clear. A lot of people are complaining about not being accurate. Well, this may be right, but basically there aren't written sources about slavic mythology and folklore, so this complaint is completely irrelevant, because there is a good chance that we'll never know the truth.
On the contrary, the game has an very beautiful world and a touching story, and I enjoyed every second of it. The only "sin" of the developers is that they wanted to create something beautiful, and in my opinion is that I haven't seen anything as beautiful as this game, in the last couple of years, and in conclusion, as long as I live, this game will have a place on all of my computers.
Just started playing, and I wasn’t sure if this game was for me – now I know it absolutely is! The visuals are stunning, and there’s something magical about experiencing such warm, spring-like vibes while standing in the middle of winter. The atmosphere is incredible, and I have to say – I love the voice acting! It adds so much depth and immersion to the story. Can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
Took no time at all to finish, English voice acting is just awful, get it on sale at the very least, not bad but only good if youre into Slavic mythos.

The only downside: There's a lot of running around, which can get tedious at certain points.
A very nice walking simulator. The visuals are well made, I liked the writing as well. The puzzles not hard.
The story is not linear, it comes together from many pieces, I enjoyed that.
